At least yesterday's crazy rain has filled our wildlife pond at The Field. The pond level has been so low since mid summer that our Flow forms haven't been able to work. But now they're back! Here's a video showing the rhythmic pulse created by the form of the bowls. Almost like a gentle breathing, this movement mimics water's natural flowing movement in streams and rivers. Flowforms re-enliven water and cascades of them are often used at the end of reed bed filter systems before the clean water is returned to the land. But ours are purely there to enhance our pond area - it's lovely to hear the sound of them again.
